Minnesota Reiki Conference May 2

The Minnesota Reiki Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on May 2, at the Metamorphosis Center in Burnsville. The day consists of speakers, panel discussions, lunch, an interactive breakout circle, networking, shopping and vendors.

Keynote speaker Debbie Ringdahl is a clinical assistant professor and co-director of the Integrative Health and Healing DNP Program at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing.  Ringdahl completed her Reiki level I with Ethel Lombardi in 1982 and Reiki level II (1996) and Reiki Mastery apprenticeship (2000) with Laurie Blanch. She started teaching Reiki classes in 2001 in her home, and in May 2003 at the University of Minnesota through the Center for Spirituality and Healing.

Local Reiki experts share their knowledge with two panel discussions: What Makes a Great Reiki Class? and Diversity in Reiki.

The five options for the breakout circle include: Reiki in Everyday Life; Elements of a Reiki Session; Leading a Reiki Share; Meditation for Reiki Practice; and Reiki Principles/Ideals.

Co-producers of the event are Ginny Mackles, owner of the Reiki Journey and Sunburst Unlimited, and Laura Strong, owner of the Metamorphosis Center and president of the Holistic Chamber of Minnesota.

"We are excited to be offering the first Minnesota Reiki Conference with a diverse group of Reiki experts sharing their knowledge and experience,” says Mackles. “We come together in community to share, educate and expand Reiki in the Twin Cities. Come grow with us!"

Mackles will be offering her award winning CD, The Reiki Journey, to all attendees.

Cost: $199 (early bird rate of $149 is offered until April 15). Location: 1301 E. Cliff Rd., Burnsville. For complete agenda and to register, visit MNReikiConference.com.
