Free Holistic Health Workshops at Normandale

Normandale Community College’s Integrative Health Education Center is holding two free open houses this winter. A free Tai Chi Open House will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., on January 21. Attendees will be introduced to tai chi movement, theory and practice in a safe and comfortable environment. No tai chi experience necessary.

The Winter Warm-Up Sampler event is scheduled for February 11 and features 45-minute workshops on a wide variety of healing modalities taught by Normandale’s experienced instructors. Homeopathy, EFT, healing touch, yoga and applied kinesiology are in the lineup. Spring Forest Qigong will offer a demonstration of moving qi through the body. With multiple workshops happening simultaneously, participants will be able to pick and choose the topics that most interest them.

The Winter Warm-Up is a preview of the many classes, workshops and certificates offered to everyone at Normandale Community College’s continuing education department. Registration is open to the community by phone or online.

Cost: Free. Location: 9700 France Ave. S., Bloomington. For more information, call 952-358-8343, email [email protected] or visit Normandale.edu/ce.
