Joyful Connections opened their new office space in October. Owner Amy Nesdahl moved her office from Blaine to neighboring Spring Lake Park, on County Highway 10 between Highway 65 and Northtown Mall.

Nesdahl is a Reiki master and teacher who has been passionate about promoting Reiki since she first experienced it more than 10 years ago. After her first Reiki session, Nesdahl says she felt as if she had gone through years of therapy in an hour. “All of the stress and sadness I was feeling just lifted. I was blown away by how powerful and effective it was.” When she went back for another session two weeks later, she asked how she could learn the healing therapy. “I just knew my purpose in life was to share Reiki with others.”

Nesdahl expresses that the new space is one step closer to her dream of providing a place of support, encouragement and mentoring for anyone who is drawn to Reiki or any healing modality. “My dream is to create a ‘hub’ for healers to work together, get training and advice, have a safe place to learn and ask questions, and a place for sharing and fellowship. I would love to see dozens of Reiki masters in the area.”
