NE Wellness Hosts Grand Opening on December 2

NE Wellness, formerly NE Community Acupuncture, will host a grand opening, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., on December 2, as they celebrate their new name. There will be live music, refreshments and door prizes. They will also host a silent auction featuring neighboring northeast businesses.

Noah Frohlich, LAc, owner and acupuncturist, explains the reason they changed their name to NE Wellness is to better describe all of the services now provided. The clinic has grown from one small room offering only community acupuncture to the entire second floor and a wide range of services, including cupping, massage, herbs, infrared sauna, nutrition and aromatherapy and, of course, acupuncture.

“NE Wellness is dedicated to providing a variety of wellness services on a sliding fee scale to make healthcare affordable to all,” states Frohlich. “We are proud to announce the expansion of services and the deeper level of integrative care available at the new center.”

NE Wellness is committed to creating a greener world. In Chinese medicine, human beings are considered part of the natural environment and their health and happiness are directly related to the health and happiness of the planet. With this in mind, NE Wellness makes every effort to create less waste and choose practices that are kind to the Earth, including the use of homemade cleaning products made with vinegar and essential oils, reusable cleaning items instead of single use, and recycling and composting everything possible. In addition, a number of their practitioners bike to work and they encourage clients to bike to the clinic as well, offering a $5 discount each time they do.
