Breast Damn Motorcycle Bra Run

The fourth annual Breast Damn Motorcycle Bra will be held at 1 p.m. on September 14 at the Medina Entertainment Center. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.

More than 500 motorcyclists are expected to participate, many with decorated bras attached to their cycles. The entertaining parade aims to bring awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer. A winner for the best decorated bike will be selected.  The event is sponsored by Treasured Chests, a nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by breast cancer survivor Kelly Moore.

The organization is seeking donated bras (used or unused), the more colorful and decorated, the better. The donated bras are used to decorate the participating motorcycles. The motorcycle run starts at the Medina Entertainment Center, travels to Tootsies, in Annandale, continues on to Red Lodge Grill, in Waverly, and then Lord Fletchers on Lake Minnetonka.

Other activities for the day include a raffle, vendors, food specials, bikini bike wash and generally having fun while raising funds for families who have been affected by the diagnosis of cancer.

Cost $20 in advance; $25 day of event. Location: Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Minnesota Hwy. 55, Medina. For more information, call 763-478-6661 or visit TreasuredChests.org.
