Sassafras Health Foods, in White Bear Lake, will host a free lecture by naturopath Dr. Michael Murray, who will speak about the subject of his latest book, What the Drug Companies Won’t Tell You and Your Doctor Doesn’t Know. He will answer questions and sign books afterward. The event will be held at the Best Western White Bear Country Inn from 7 to 9 p.m. on June 26.

Murray is the co-author of A Textbook of Natural Medicine, considered the definitive textbook on naturopathic medicine for physicians, as well as the consumer version, The Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine. The author of more than 30 books, Murray is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of natural medicine.
