Aark Advanced Electrolysis & Advanced Wellness Gets a Remodel

Aark Advanced Electrolysis and Advanced Wellness, in New Brighton, has recently had a complete office remodel. Upgrades include new equipment, a new therapy table, a redesigned waiting area and a new office desk.

According to Diane C. Christofferson, owner, “I like to stay current with technology and offer my clients the most up-to-date training, tools and equipment.” A licensed cosmetologist and esthetician, Christofferson has been offering permanent hair removal since 1990 and has been at her current location for 25 years. She offers only plant-based products as well as a toxin-free environment.

Other services offered include ionic detoxification for removal of toxins via the feet, and LED light therapy, a non-invasive procedure that causes no inflammation and requires no special post-treatment procedures. This is proven to be effective for cosmetic purposes diminishing the visible appearance of fine line, wrinkles and superficial hyperpigmentation.

“My work embraces the whole person,” Christofferson explains. “Besides helping with self-image as a result of removing unwanted hair, the foot and skin treatments help people detoxify from stress and from what they’ve put into their bodies. They end up feeling much better about themselves in several ways.” In addition, she helps clients understand the importance of stress management and nutrition. “It’s really about a person’s total wellness.”

Gift certificates can be purchased at her office or by telephone.
