Learn the basics of this life-long winter sport including ice fishing techniques, ice fishing safety, equipment and more at “Try It: Ice Fishing.”

From 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 at Fish Lake Regional Park, Maple Grove.

Experienced staff, professionals and community partners will available during the hands-on event. Practice ice fishing techniques, learn how to bait a hook, and test out equipment. Warm up by a fire or try kicksledding. If you want to try ice fishing, but you don't know how, or you don't have the equipment, this is the event for you. This program is free and open to all ages. Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. All are welcome.
