Mazopiya Shop Local Event May 20
Mazopiya, a natural food market, hosts a free Shop Local Event, from noon to 4 p.m., on May 20, at their location in Prior Lake. Mazopiya represents a fresh approach to good nutrition, with a wide selection of local and organic foods that are free of artificial ingredients.
Event includes food sampling from local vendors as well as the Mazopiya deli; door prizes and giveaways; kids’ crafts; and Wozupi Tribal Gardens' fresh produce, organic plant starts, annual flowers, hanging baskets, honey, maple syrup and eggs.
In addition to grocery items, Mazopiya offers convenient deli options using recipes from an award-winning Twin Cities chef, as well as catering services and food and wellness classes that are open to the general public.
Mazopiya's reFresh bar serves 100 percent organic, whole-food juices and smoothies that are lower in sugar and diabetic-friendly, along with fair trade-certified coffee, espresso and tea.
