Explore the health effects of Laughter Yoga and superfoods and get free goodies at the Healthy Life Expo, October 17 and 18, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Expo runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The first 100 persons in line will receive a free goodie bag.

Laughter Yoga, which combines intentional and spontaneous laughter with yogic breathing, will be taught by Sarah Routman, a leadership instruction and wellness advocate at the University of Minnesota. It is just one of 33 presentations that will be given on three different stages at the expo. Others include Superfoods with a Purpose by Dr. John Fitzgerald, DC and Mart Fitzgerald; Reduce Inflammation and Lose Weight through Food Choices by Dr. Stephani Waldron-Trapp, ND; Hypnosis 101 by Kelli von Heydekampf; How Do Hormones Run Your Life? by Dr. Jarod Hall; Mindful Movement by Rachel Bents of Enjoy Wellness Studios; and vinyasa yoga classes by Grace McCrady and Sarah Fischer of YogaFit, Excelsior.
