Tree Nuts Cut Colon Cancer Relapse: Reduces Recurrence in Patients

Researchers from the Dana Farber Cancer Institute examined nutrition and cancer recurrence data from 826 patients with Stage III colon cancer and found those that consumed two or more ounces of tree nuts a week experienced a 42 percent reduction in cancer recurrence and a 57 percent lower risk of death on average compared to those that ate no nuts.
