Cassandra Rose, L.Ac.
Cassandra Rose, L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with a specialty in Macular Regeneration.
Macular Regeneration is a program that uses Acunova and Micro-Acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, microcurrent therapy, herbs, supplements and lifestyle to address degenerative eye diseases such as macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, Stargardt’s, conjunctivitis, post-herpetic eye pain, dry eye and more. It is effective in slowing, stopping or improving vision loss and degeneration in 85% of patients by clinical outcome standards.
The program starts with a group of closely scheduled appointments. Then an ongoing weekly or biweekly schedule to maintain progress. Each appointment is 2 thirty minute treatments back to back. There are no needles in the eyes. The primary points are in the hands and feet. Treatment with Cassandra is a deeply relaxing healing experience.
It was divine happenstance that brought Cassandra to the Macular Regeneration path. She was asked by a patient to study the Macular Regeneration protocol. The acupuncturist who pioneered this program was leaving the country and Cassandra was able to continue his practice here in the Twin Cities after an extensive internship. The program proved to be a source of constant excitement and inspiration for Cassandra. Not only does the process spark her professional curiosity with it’s effectiveness but it is deeply moving to witness the effect it has in patient’s lives. How could she not be moved by being allowed to help people keep seeing, keep working, keep reading, keep living independent lives? It is a privilege to offer this powerful method to bring hope to folks with degenerative eye diseases.
Long before her journey into eye health Cassandra began to study acupuncture after receiving treatment at a school clinic in San Francisco, CA. Her experience with acupuncture inspired her. As an artist Cassandra had always tried to create healing moments in the world. Acupuncture felt like a natural and direct extension of that creative desire.
After earning her Master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine she went on to study in the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program at the California Institute of Integral Studies before moving to the Twin Cities. She has completed internships in Family Medicine, TCM Oncology and Macular Regeneration. She has had the privilege of studying with some of the most respected practitioners in the world.
Now Cassandra is an experienced acupuncturist who has given more than 12,000 acupuncture treatments in her career. She helps patients with seasonal and esoteric alignment, allergies, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, digestion, oncology side effects, reproductive health, immune support, the common cold, injury recovery, pain management and more.
