Sobruary (Sober February) Challenge

You're invite you to let go of a habitual pattern and mindfully implement a new, healthy one.

What is The Sobruary Challenge?

Starting February 1st, we invite you to let go of a habitual pattern and mindfully implement a new, healthy one. This could mean taking a break from drinking, fast food, Netflix binges, social media or anything else that we’ve misused or abused & replace it with a healthy habit like meditation or yoga. Whatever wellness journey you are on in life and wherever you find yourself on that journey, we invite you to participate in the Sobruary challenge!

We are teaming up with Thropic & lululemon, offering daily virtual classes; yoga, meditation, fitness & community conversations, and Friday night virtual events; DJ set, a mindful night in, movie night, and trivia to support everyone throughout the challenge.

Who should participate in The Sobruary Challenge? Everyone!

** YOU CAN JOIN ANYTIME THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY **

WHY THIS MATTERS

Interest in our programming has grown and we have witnessed the need to continue offering free, virtual ways to connect. The social isolation caused by the pandemic is difficult for people in recovery and we want to continue to provide solutions for the community. According to JAMA, alcohol sales have increased 262% during covid which will result in a rise in alcohol use disorder and other unhealthy coping habits. According to Nielsen, smartphone screen time is up 21%. NPR reports the National Eating Disorder Hotline has seen a 70-80% increase in calls. Unfortunately, the list goes on ....

At NamaStay, we believe our programming can be used by anyone looking to swap out unhealthy behaviors and addictions regardless of what those are with habits more aligned with wellbeing. This fundraising campaign will allow us to expand our reach and offerings so NamaStay can stand ready to support the growing number of those looking for help and accessible resources.

Please join us for our Sobruary Challenge campaign as we look to raise $28,000 all of which will directly fund our instructors and hosts in continuing to provide daily opportunities to connect, learn and grow.
