Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
Learn the foundations of mindfulness meditation

Mindfulness is the art of attention. During this course, participants will learn foundational techniques for developing the mindfulness muscle to cultivate curiosity, wisdom, and well-being. Extensive research has shown meditation can help manage emotions, reduce stress, and create a sense of calm. This class will focus on seated meditation, participants will also learn walking and lying down meditation.
Instructed by:
Laura Adrian is a yogini, meditator, writer, and community herbalist who finds beauty, awe, and inspiration by directly connecting to the Earth whether in a city park or wilderness expedition. She has been studying holistic healing modalities since 2004 and weaves together what she’s learned in retreats and courses. Through these experiences, she has encouraged hundreds of people to develop wilderness skills, challenge themselves, and develop a more beautiful relationship with the natural world. Laura has extensive meditation experience in Buddhist traditions and is in the process of completing a two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Laura’s first book which weaves together nature experiences and mindfulness lessons for everyday living will be released summer 2022!
