NAMI Minnesota’s Open Door support groups provide ongoing support for individuals with an anxiety or panic disorder. Groups are free and meet for 90 minutes.
Groups are a place to find support, learn new skills and strategies, and better understand and manage anxiety in daily life.
The Open Door program is based on the book Embracing the Fear: Learning to Manage Anxiety and Panic Attacks by Judith Bemis and Amr Barrada.
All groups are facilitated by people with lived experience with anxiety and panic attacks.
