Clean Energy Resource Team’s Conference in St. Cloud

The members of the Clean Energy Resource Team (CERTs) will hold their biennial conference this month. The conference will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on February 20 and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on February 21, at the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center.

The conference begins with a workshop that will discuss such topics as utility partnerships, community-capacity building, green cities, clean-energy schools and energy-saving steps for local businesses. The first day will conclude with a reception and a green film festival. The second day will feature the keynote address, as well as various presentations covering topics relating to local governments, schools, businesses, residents and energy trends.

CERTs is an organization of individuals, business owners, academics, non-profit groups and local governments. The main purpose of the organization is to provide resources, networking and a forum for Minnesotans interested in clean energy.
