Diane Christofferson, owner of Aark Advanced Electrolysis and Advanced Wellness, is offering a 10-percent discount for first-time clients throughout May. Besides electrolysis, Christofferson also provides skin rejuvenation through LED light therapy and ionic foot detoxification at her New Brighton location.

All of her services help clients improve both inside and out, she says, but electrolysis may show the most dramatic change. “There is a big boost in self-confidence for women who receive electrolysis treatments for facial hair, even after the first visit,” says Christofferson, who has been in business in the Twin Cities since 1990. “It’s like night and day.”

“My work embraces the whole person,” she says. “Besides helping with self-image as a result of removing unwanted hair, the foot and skin treatments help people detoxify from stress and from what they’ve put in their bodies. They end up feeling much better about themselves in several ways.” In addition, Christofferson helps clients understand the importance of stress management and nutrition. “It’s really about a person’s total wellness.”
