Complementary and Alternative Options for Wellness Opens in Coon Rapids

Staff from the Circle of Healing Arts

A diverse group of wellness practitioners have formed a cooperative to offer a variety of complementary and alternative health and wellness services. The Circle of Healing Arts Co-op (CoHA) provides a variety of experiences for individuals looking for complimentary or alternative health care.

“Educating, supporting and inspiring our clients is a major part of our mission,” says Sherri Anderson, certified massage therapist (CMT) and co-op president.

This cooperative enables CoHA to better serve the community with an integrated healing and wellness not available from individual practitioners. “Our goal is to help people feel better in multiple ways,” says founder and CMT Paula Frost. “If one of us is not the right fit for a client, someone else in the group will be able to help them.”

Some of the CoHA packages include smoking cessation, weight management, stress relief and an overall wellness sampler. Services include massage, hypnotherapy, Reiki, quantum touch, acupuncture, Oriental medicine, guided imagery, food and beverage fermentation, tuning fork therapy, reflective art journeys, shamanism, kundalini yoga, nutrition consultation, life coaching, mediation and archetypal tarot counseling, Young Living essential oils and various classes. The co-op also offers farm-direct food and is a drop site for community-supported agriculture (CSA).
