Art District Chiropractic, in Minneapolis, now offers American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification classes. Doctors Lori Pottebaum and Ann Sahr are certified CPR instructors who teach Heartsaver CPR and AED courses for the general public and BLS courses for health-care providers.

Classes can be held at the doctors’ office or they can travel to on-site locations, such as workplaces to train employees, church groups or other organizations whose members are interested in learning this life-saving technique.

Individuals also can call to sign up for classes that will be hosted at their office and will be notified of future class offerings. “CPR is a technique that anyone can learn,” says Pottebaum. “We tell our participants that we are teaching them something we hope they never have to use, but if they do we hope they feel confident in helping.”  

Art District Chiropractic, located in the art district of northeast Minneapolis, celebrated its 12th anniversary this year.
