Twin Cities Green Drinks Meeting

AIGA Minnesota Sustainable Design will host Twin Cities Green Drinks from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 12 at the Dangerous Man Brewing Company, Minneapolis. All those interested in design and the environment are invited. The evening includes a featured speaker, beginning at 6:30, and includes lively conversation around sustainable design topics.

Green Drinks is a national organization bringing together people interested in environmental issues. Each city organizes its own gathering to host monthly events, to engage and connect people from a wide range of backgrounds. In the Twin Cities, networking events are held the second Wednesday of each month.

AIGA is a an organization made up of graphic designers as well as professionals in allied fields such as printing, pre-press, photography, illustration, paper manufacturing and distribution and writing. AIGA Minnesota was founded in 1977 as the Minnesota Graphic Designers Association and is one of the largest AIGA chapters in the nation, serving nearly 1,300 members in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

AIGA Minnesota supports the interests of professionals, educators and students engaged in the process of designing, regardless of where they are in their careers. The group offers education and professional development programs, competitions, shows that promote excellence in design and opportunities for students and professionals to network.
