Free Minnesota Goes Green Event in St. Paul

Minnesota Goes Green will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on June 22 at Union Depot, in St. Paul. This is a free family event.

This experience-based event will provide individuals and businesses with the education and resources to implement sustainable practices for a greener tomorrow. Local businesses will exhibit and sell their eco-friendly products throughout the day.

Minnesota Goes Green was created to educate the public on how to incorporate simple, practical, sustainable and fun ideas into everyday life. Filled with interactive entertainment and educational activities for young and old, the organization offers information on local food, sustainable fashion, green inventions, eco-friendly transportation, gardening tips and eco-friendly products and services.

The event is sponsored by Xcel Energy, Innovative Energy Solutions, Treasure Island Resort and Casino, Mississippi Market Natural Foods Co-op, Metro Transit, Eureka Recycling, Sol Inspirations, CounterCouture, University of Minnesota College of Design, Fixity and the St. Paul Farmer’s Market.
