Natural Awakenings Twin Cities

Leadership Workshop for Teenage Girls

Laura Adrian, a kundalini yoga teacher and craniosacral therapist practicing in the Twin Cities area, will host a four-week program for teenage girls entitled Root to Rise: Embodied Leadership Intensive. The course meets 6 to 9 p.m., Mondays, at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community, from June 29 to July 20.

Adrian develops classes to assist students in shedding their limiting beliefs, unveiling their innate strengths and bringing clarity into their lives. "My goal as a teacher is to give students tools to overcome obstacles and live their potential."

The focus of Root to Rise is to empower young women to uncover their authentic leadership abilities. They will be taught how to develop strengths, refine communication skills, overcome obstacles and set goals. Students who complete the program take a quantum leap forward in personal growth, integrity, confidence and communication.

The program weaves together kundalini yoga with engaging individual and group activities to help young women become the best versions of themselves. Kundalini yoga is a powerful and practical tool to cultivate clarity, harmony, wellness and emotional balance.

Cost: $120. ($95 Early Bird Rate until June 1.) Location: 4401 Upton Ave., Minneapolis. Pre-registration required. Register at LauraEvelynAdrian.com.
