Gary Beaver to Present at Norfolk, VA Conference

Gary R. Beaver

Licensed psychologist, Gary R. Beaver, M.A., a provider of Induced After Death Communication (IADC) therapy, will be one of the presenters at the Fifth Annual Afterlife Awareness Conference, in Norfolk, Virginia, June 4 to 7. Beaver completed IADC training with Dr. Allan L. Botkin who discovered the technique.

Beaver, with an office in Roseville, is a certified IADC Trainer and also serves on the IADC International Board. He has extensive training and experience in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is the basis of IADC.

IADC is a miraculous therapy which heals grief and trauma to a degree never before possible. During a successful IADC process, the sadness an individual is feeling about their loved one’s death is permanently cleared in the first step. In the second step, there is a direct, unmediated experience with the deceased loved one which most consider to be an authentic encounter. This can include encounters with deceased beloved pets. An IADC is always a very positive event, regardless of the relationship between the experiencer and the deceased at the time of the latter’s death.

Beaver says that until IADC was developed, there was no effective therapy available specifically for grief. “We’d been providing support with the hope that time would heal the grief, and sometimes it worked,” he states. “But sometimes it didn’t—the person got stuck and was not going to heal just from time. That’s where IADC really makes the difference.”
