Natural Awakenings Twin Cities

Free World Tai Chi & Qigong Day on April 30

Normandale Community College’s Integrative Health Education Center is holding a fun, free, healing event, World Tai Chi & Qigong Day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., on April 30.

People in more than 100 cities across 80 nations will breathe and move together at the same time, providing a healing vision for our world. This event started in 1999 to help educate the world about the health benefits of tai chi and qigong and has become an annual event worldwide.

There will be a variety of tai chi demonstrations and interactive “practice and try” breakout sessions immediately following. People will also have the opportunity to learn about qigong and sample this healing modality with Spring Forest Qigong.

Normandale’s Center for Applied Learning is a leader in complementary and integrative health education and trains hundreds of individuals in tai chi and qigong annually.

Cost: Free. Location: 9700 France Ave. S., Bloomington. For more information and registration, call 952-358-8343, email [email protected] or visit Normandale.edu/ce.
