Rolfing St. Paul Now Open

Certified Rolfer Breana Larson recently opened her practice, Rolfing St. Paul, in the Awaken for Wellness building in St. Paul.

“I am passionate about helping others discover their most vibrant, mobile, pain-free selves and live life to the fullest,” Larson says.

She explains that Rolfing Structural Integration is a type of bodywork that reorganizes connective tissue, the fascia, in order to restore optimal balance, alignment and function to the whole body. Rolfing often releases tension, alleviates pain and discomfort, enhances freedom of motion and improves the performance of one’s favorite activities.

By addressing the body as a whole, in a systematic sequence designed by Dr. Ida Rolf, long-standing patterns of tension and holding are allowed to unwind and be replaced by nourishing, fluid movement. For those with hypermobility, Rolfing can help in finding a stable base of support as well.

“A wide variety of people benefit from Rolfing,” Larson says. “This includes professional athletes, people with demanding or repetitive jobs, those recovering from injuries and trauma, growing children and teens and anyone who just wants to feel more ‘at home’ in their bodies,”.
