Organic Aah Joins ITEX

Shannon Anderson

Shannon Anderson, founder and owner of Organic Aah, recently announced that her company has signed up as an ITEX member making her product available to be purchased with ITEX dollars.

In 2011, Anderson launched Organic Aah, an online retail store designed to bring affordable, natural, organic and gluten-free body and skin care products to its customers. Small organic companies from around the United States were hand-selected by Anderson to provide a variety of options for skin and body care.

ITEX is a business-to-business barter network with 95 licensed and franchised offices throughout North America. In business for 31 years, ITEX is similar to a bank that small independently owned business members use to make transactions by means of a private and legal electronic currency called ITEX dollars. “I decided to join ITEX to expand the audience I market my product to while using my ITEX dollars for business and personal items that make sense for me,” says Anderson.

Businesses such as hair salons, window cleaners or automobile repair shops can be traded on ITEX. Unlike direct barter, with ITEX your barter funds go into an ITEX bank account that can be used for anything that ITEX has available. Hotel rooms, concert tickets, resorts and more are some of the items available.

The benefits of barter include maximizing sales, offsetting expenses, supporting like-minded businesses and gaining exposure and market share.
