Crystal Rock Opens Store in White Bear Lake

Nov 01, 2018 11:38PM

Crystal Rock opened its newest store, and its first in Minnesota, in White Bear Lake, this past September. Already owning stores in Fargo and Bismarck, North Dakota, Ron and Cindy Schmitz decided to branch out to the Twin Cities area.

Crystal Rock stores feature an assortment of rocks and gems; sages; incense; jewelry; essential oils; chakra products; healing products; pet supplies; home and personal care products; as well as offer classes and special events at all of their store locations. Some of their products are featured on “As Seen on TV.”

They also offer a monthly subscription called Spirit Box, literally a box full of metaphysical and handmade natural products to help you on your journey. Each month they offer a different theme such as Chakras, Prosperity, Love, Protection, Seasons or Smudging. Also included are instructions for using the products as well as “How-to Tips”. Each box has an approximate $70 retail value and sells for either $29.99 or $39.99 (plus S&H) depending on which subscription you sign-up to receive.

Crystal Rock offers its own line of products, including essential oils and bath and home products, all developed by Cindy. “We make all of our own natural products, including jewelry and North Dakota sage and we even cut and polish the rocks we sell in the store,” says Cindy.

The store has additional rooms in the back, including a classroom that can be rented, a massage/healing room, a smaller room for personal readings and an additional room that can be used as needed. Rooms can be rented by contacting the store for cost and availability.

Crystal Rock has been in business since 2013 and they opened their first store in 2015 in Bismarck. Cindy had been dealing with some health issues related to Lyme disease that converted into rheumatoid arthritis. She took ownership of her health by choosing holistic options instead of the prescriptions offered by western doctors which worked but caused so many detrimental side effects.

Store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m., Sunday.

Location: 4399 Lake Ave. S (next to Kowalski’s on Hwy. 61), White Bear Lake. For more information, call 651-426-4128 or visit
